Yes, Bosh had a great comeback season in 2015-2016 but had to retire. And couldn't participate in the 2016 playoffs where D-Wade carried the Heat to the second round. I think that team with a healthy Bosh could have put up a fight against the Cavs.

100% this. It sucks, but I'm glad he's physically okay. There was an ESPN article a few years ago about many NBA players having long-term heart issues due to their heights. Hopefully LMA can live a normal life going forward

I mean LMA kind of got a raw deal with the Spurs, no fault of him or the organization. He thought he was joining a contender and another superstar and ended up anchoring a rebuild before being told to go away.

It was probably getting noticeable over the past season or two already, Lamarcus and the Spurs just monitored it. I’m thinking the plan was to get a ring with Brooklyn and then retire, but I’m guessing it got to the point that he’d rather retire healthy to be with his family instead of sacrificing the rest of his life for a ring. Which is a choice 99/100 people would make.

Roy/Aldridge/Oden were only able to play 62 total games together. They went 50-12. Imagine if they not only stayed healthy but Oden was also able to actually develop his skills past being a rookie.
